This is a rare process Lens F: 9/12 IN. 300mm made by Apromat. Not much is out there on Apromat other than some information on the owner of the company Henry A Giesecke. He has several patents in Apromat names registered, most that detail the structure of the aperture.

They were filed in 1969.

The lens looks clean, the aperture smooth. It’s a nice heavy lens. This would be a great piece for a collector or those who might want to try it out with large format.
