This decorative sconce/corbel is from France and it dates to the mid 1900's. It is carved form oak and finished to a warm dark color. It is a beautifully made work of art that also has practical uses. Note that the top is not finished and there are two holes in the middle to mount the corbel to the wall (see photos). Overall it is in good condition with minor chips and scratches consistent with its age. Dimensions: 25.75" wide, 7" tall and 3.5" deep.
