Vintage Antique Holy Bible - this has a sterling silver plate on the front (its quite thin) depicting Holman Hunts artwork of The light of the world

Bible Measures 11.5cm x 7.5cm

Fully Hallmarked Birmingham 1905

This has an inscription inside that is dated 1906 see photo for details

The silver is in reasonable condition but does show some dent / rippling which you can see but also feel as you run fingers accross the front - It might be able to be straightened out a little - I have not tried - It also feels rough around the edges and you feel a couple of little splits / dinks - One corner is also bent out of shape. It’s all quite visible on photos

The pages have a few little marks and discolouration at edges

So condition is not perfect but it’s a more unusual cover image to find on one of these

Still has its original box - although split corner and marks on the top lid
