M. V. “Georgic” & R. M. S. “Laconia

M. V. “Georgic”, Captain B. B. Oram, R. D., R. N. R., New York to London, Saturday, May 16th to May 22nd., 1937. The M. V. “Georgic” was severely damaged and sunk in 1941 by a German bombing raid.

R. M. S. “Laconia”, Captain C. H. Bate, R. D., R. N. R., Liverpool, via Dublin and Galway to Boston and New York, Saturday, Sept. 11th to Sunday Sept., 19th, 1937. The R. M. S. “Laconia” was destroyed by a German U-boat Sept. 12, 1942, 1,658 people were killed.

The Abstracts of Logs, with color illustration of the vessels on the front, measures 6 ½ x 4 inches, few faint creases at tips and minor shelf wear to extremities otherwise in very good condition, odor free.
