This is a mixed lot of fur pieces.
- Pill box hat. New York Creations. This has been pretty squashed but fur is good and it looks to me like it could be straightened out. Also it looks to me like it is a child's hat. Way too small for most women.
- Fur ear cover headband. "Importer Projansky Rochester". Also probably for a child and possibly not intended to cover the ears. There are loops, one on each side, for using a bobby pin to attach the hat to the hair.
- Fur button, just one, as shown.
- Many scraps of various shapes and sizes. They weigh just shy of a pound. They are unlined.
These pieces were found in the estate of a woman born in 1894.
My best guess is that these pieces were from the 20s but I really don't know.
She lived in NYC at that time but was a child around the turn of the century;
hence the hats may be for children.
The pieces look good to me. They are supple and soft.
The pieces weigh 0.89 of a pound.
