The Corsair, the masterpiece fighter aircraft of the U.S. Navy. This plastic model assembly kit includes the representative type F4U-1D and the mototug used to tow shipboard aircraft.
Scale 1/48, overall length of F4U-1D Corsair is 205mm, overall width is 236mm (with wings extended). Overall length and width of Moto Tug 62mm and 29mm, respectively.
The model definitely captures the F4U-1D's features, such as the Corsair's distinctive fearless style, as well as the elevated cockpit position and new, thicker propeller.
The unique inverted gull wings are reproduced folded. The model can also be assembled with the wings folded down.
Two additional tanks and eight rocket launchers are included.
The mototugs are reproduced with a rich three-dimensional effect, including large-diameter double tires and large bumpers. The Corsair can be connected to the Corsair by the tow bar for display and scenic purposes.
Two types of tow bars are included, one to be attached to the tailwheel of the aircraft and the other to the main wheels.
Includes pilot and moto-tug operator dolls and 3 types of decals.
