This item for sale is amid 1800's antique large open serving piece in excellent gently used condition. It is made by Thomas Godwin its Staffordshire and features William Penn and a few Lenape Indians (indigenous individuals) It is quite large, handled and on a pedestal. No markings, no chips no real cracks or repairs. The bottom edge has a light brown line that does not go through to the front. Looks. like dirty crazing. It measures 11.25 inches across, 8.75 inches wide, and 6 inches tall. It is a museum piece as I have seen other examples of transferware featuring William Penn in several museums in Washington DC, Boston, New York and Connecticut.
