This exquisite tea caddy features intricate etched designs of dragons, birds,flowers and bamboo all adorning the beautiful pewter material. Made in China between 1900-1940, this antique original piece exudes both elegance and history. It stands at 7 1/2 inches in height, 5 1/2 inches in width, and 3 1/2 inches in length, with delicate feet to support it. A perfect addition to any collection of tea caddies or Asian antiques. It needs to be polished as there is some light scratches on sides and some wear marks from usage on top around spout. When you push the lid down it feels like it creates a vacuum seal. It makes a popping noise when you pull the lid off.
