Spine wear, edge and corner wear. Damage to the top right of the cover with abrasion and small hole. Large water stain to the left side of the cover with a smaller stain on the back cover.

Conservation: Because the staples had some rusting, using mending tape I carefully reinforced the staples, and cleaned them.  I also repaired the hole in the cover. Looks much better now and will last much longer.
