SUMMARY:
A good condition WW2 Nickel RAF Air Ministry Issue Bomb Aimers Timer Stop Pocket Watch dating from ca. 1939.

The watch is in full ticking order, recently cleaned and serviced and keeping good time and with a two year mechanical warranty. Do note that all  functions operate from top winding button.

THE DIAL: 99% mint, the cream coloured dial with black Arabic numerals and in bright condition . The dial with blue steel spade hands and blue centre seconds hand. Diameter is 42 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition.  

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with nickel plated three quarter plate and a Bosely regulator, and blue steel screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with hairspring and pin-pallet escapement. The movement overall of good quality and in surprisingly good order with 7 jewels. 

 The watch is much brighter and  crisp than in these dark photos, which are limited by my camera and lighting equipment.  The watch is in very good working order for its age. 

THE CASE: 99% mint, the nickle plated case measures an impressive 47 mm. The front and rear covers are excellent, both close nice and tightly. The case with a stop-start and return functions in working order from main winding crown, 

The pictures show minor reflections and various dark marks, these are an artefact from the lighting and are not present in the watch case. This is a very fine  period antique in simply stunning condition, which is a very rare collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.

Any dark areas or marks on highly polished surfaces are almost certainly reflections from the camera or lighting equipment.
