Beautiful and delicate vintage figurine of a woman in an a lace dress, and a parrot on her shoulder, playing mandolin - Volkstedt, Germany c1920s

It is a very lovely piece. The details are skillfully hand painted and the woman’s dress is made of beautiful fragile, delicate porcelain lace.

It is marked with Volkstedt mark.

Measures: appx 9.5” H

Condition: some, not extensive loss to lace in few small areas, such the dress bottom, one finger on the hand that is holding mandolin is missing, mandolin handle has been broken off and glued. Minor use marks and loss to gilt and decorations. Damage on lace is typical for Dresden lace figurines. This piece is sold in AS IS condition due to the above.
