HMS CENTURIAN : Ships Tally.

WORN AROUND THE NAVAL CAP OF RATINGS ON THE STRENGTH OF HMS CENTURIAN.

HMS Centurian  has been  the name of a Royal Navy Warship  from the 17th Century mainly big ships with glorious  historys including Admiral Anson's ship for his around the world voyage and the last being a King George vth Dreadnought which ended its days as a block ship of the Normandy Shores in 1944. However the Centurian this tally would have been for was the Central Drafting Office of the Royal Navy first at Haselmere  then Gosport from 1964 to 1994 when it closed and became a single building within HMS Sultan.
