Vintage Gibson Victory Artist Bass Sunburst 1981

PLEASE CONTACT US WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR FOR AN IN-HAND DESCRIPTION

Made for only a brief moment in the early to mid '80s, the Victory Artist bass features dual humbuckers with active electronics all wrapped up in a classic sunburst finish. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for being over 40 years old with signs of some typical play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some light finish wear. There was a previous tugbar screwed into the body which has since been removed, hence the extra screw holes. Overall the bass looks great & has an ultra cool vibe to it.

Neck: Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Gibson open-gear tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" width brass nut; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Contoured, solid maple body in sunburst finish. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable roller saddles & 5-ply black pickguard. Bass weighs a hefty 11 lbs 14.7 oz.

Electronics: Gibson special design humbuckers. Master volume with Bass & Treble controls (black speed knobs). 3-way pickup selector switch & 3-way mode selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included with replaced handle. The right side clasp does not stay latched.
