Another wonderful thing from my parents collection.

A lovely vintage, Mayan weaving from the San Andres area. After translating the woven signature piece on the back, is says, "Maya Crafts Rosario Parallal San Andres Solola Onion Harvest", identifying the Weaver and the area of Guatemala that this piece came from. It is celebrating the San Andres Onion Festival with this beautiful weaving that embodies the beauty and craftsmanship of Guatemalan culture. It measures 19" square, and is beautifully woven and embroidered with numerous figures in the onion fields, doing their harvest, along with a totally stitched border around the entire piece.

Condition is excellent vintage, collectible, with no damage of any kind. It is a lovely piece to hang on a wall, showcase over the back of a chair, or on the center of a table. coming from a smoke free environment.
