MATON EBG808 Nashville #28643

Australia's long-established brand "Maton Guitars"! !

Mayton is famous as a brand that Tommy Emmanuel, who is said to be the world's best acoustic guitar player, has continued to use for many years.
This "EBG808 Nashville" is a model based on the most popular "EBG808" in Mayton's lineup, with arrangements such as vintage amber burst color, herringbone trim, and tortoiseshell pattern pickguard.

Wood materials include AA grade Sitka spruce top, A grade black wood sides and back, and ebony fingerboard and bridge.
The blackwood for the side and back is a wood native to Australia, and has characteristics similar to the same acacia koa, but this wood has a fuller mid-low range and richer sustain. Masu.
The combination of spruce and blackwood has a crisp and bright sound that is typical of Mayton, and it also has excellent picking response, so it can be used in a wide range of situations, from singing to band sounds, and of course, solo guitar styles that make full use of Tommy's galloping playing style.
The body size is 14-4/1 inch wide, which is between the 000 and 00, and the body thickness is 4-3/4 inch deep.
Although it has a compact and easy-to-hold body, the deep body design provides solid sound pressure and a rich low range.
The excellent playability achieved by the exquisite neck grip and sense of tension is described as ``it feels like it sticks to your hand'', and will be a great advantage during staging!

The installed pickup system is "AP5 Pro", a dual system that can blend Mayton's original under-saddle piezo and condenser microphone! !
The undersaddle piezo uses a piezo pickup called a "parasitic type" that has an independent pole piece for each string.
Since each string vibration can be directly captured, you can get a sense of separation, natural, and powerful output even with just a piezo pickup.
By blending this high-performance piezo pickup with a condenser microphone, we are able to create a wonderful line sound that is both powerful and airy, giving it the raw, airy feel of an acoustic guitar.
This condenser microphone is designed to be moved with a gooseneck, and the great thing about it is that you can fine-tune it depending on the sound you're aiming for and the howling point.
In addition, to prevent howling, which is the weak point of condenser microphones, a filter is applied to the low range, so even when the band is playing at a loud volume, howling is less likely to occur, making it possible to use it comfortably.
In the preamp section, you can control the piezo and microphone volumes, the master volume that determines the overall volume, and the 3-band EQ.
This unique high-performance system has gained tremendous trust and praise from many artists, regardless of their solo or band style.

Playability, line sound, and lively sound... There aren't many brands that make high-quality guitars that have all these three features! !
From practicing at home to on stage... it will be your reliable companion.
