Late 19th century. We believe this to be by the renowned firm of R.J. Horner of New York. In two parts. The upper case with paneled mirror back, the crest with carved Northwind head flanked by carved scrolling leaf tips above a central glass display cabinet with glass paneled doors and mirror back. The cabinet flanked by open display shelves; each with a mirror back and spiral twist colonettes with foliate carved turnings. All supported by full body seated winged lions centering a beveled mirror plate. The rectangular quarter sawn gadrooned edge fitted with a central drawer above a pair of bowed doors over a single drawer, all profusely foliate carved, flanked by a pair of panel doors with applied foliate carved cartouches, raised on four carved claw feet. SIZE: 7’3” h x 6’ w x 2’2” d. CONDITION: Very nice refinished surface, rich patina, and original hardware. Very good to excellent. FFO2509
