SIGNED COLLECTOR’S LIMITED EDITION: CALIFORNIA DREAMING: MEMORIES & VISIONS OF LA 1966-75. PHOTOGRAPHS BY HENRY DILTZ 

This collector’s limited edition of 2000 copies is signed by the photographer Henry Diltz, and numbered 1144/2000.  

By Henry Diltz and Graham Nash, with over 500 photographs and a 96,000-word text from 48 legendary contributors, California Dreaming is not only a retrospective book of America's pre-eminent rock photographer, Henry Diltz, it is the defining record of an era, as told by those who were at its center. From Pete Seeger & The Kingston Trio to The Byrds, The Doors and Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Eagles, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, James Taylor and Neil Young, Henry Diltz knew and photographed them all. As a result, California Dreaming recounts a golden age in the LA music scene. 

This out-of-print book was published by Genesis in 2007.

Hardcover binding with quarter calfskin leather spine and denim fabric cover, gold foil stamped lettering on the front cover and on leather spine, gilded page edging and gilt tooling, with color and black & white photographs, 344 pages. The cloth covered slipcase was reproduced from a vintage tie-dye sample created by John Sebastian, and also comes with royal blue cloth sack for protection. 

Includes inserts stored in the inside front cover pocket: A book mark attached to ribbon, Rock Icons Genesis card, Genesis Five Limited Editions copy check slip dated on the reverse 01-10-2007, and a CD by The Modern Folk Quartet “Highway 70”. 

CONDITION: In new condition. The book comes in the original Genesis shipping box which measures 16 1/2 x 12 x 3 inches, and weighs 8 pounds 8 ounces.
