The SR-3 was released next to the SR-2 around the same time as the early model SR-1. SR-3 has an early model and a late model. This item is an early model and was only sold for about one year from 1960. The proof is that the aperture mechanism is semi-automatic. (The aperture is fully opened when the shutter is wound.) Later models sold from 1961 had fully automatic aperture. As you can see by searching on eBay, there are very few early model SR-3s in existence. This item also includes a selenium-receiving light meter that was sold as an option for the SR-3.
