This item is a nice , heavy , brass pulley I think is a bow or stern pulley to be mounted on a boat although it could be mounted on top of a post .

The way it’s configured it wouldn’t work if mounted on a wall because the rope and the pulley wheel would not have clearance to operate . The wheel is pinned in the pulley housing .

Nevertheless , it’s a nice little pulley made of heavy brass and would look good in any setting or for a decor accent piece !
