The blade may have a small area with light surface tarnish where the anti-corrosion coating was thin.  This will not affect the functionality of the blade.  It has been polished and coated lightly with machine oil.

The blade has a rim thickness of approximately 0.045 inch (1.14 mm), plate thickness of 0.032 inch (0.81 mm) and a 1/2 inch arbor (hole).  It can be used in the Dremel Model 580 and 588 series and other hobby table saws that require a 4 inch blade with 1/2 inch arbor, including the Byrnes and the Jarmac range. The Craftsman Model 572-2474 and the Montgomery Ward Power Kraft Model TDR97501 are identical to the Dremel and also use this blade.    This blade can also be used in the Sears 4 inch panel saw. This blade can also be used in applications that require a 4 inch blade with 3/8 inch arbor. A 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch bushing for this will be included at no additional charge, if requested with your payment (please don't ask unless you need it as we have a limited supply).

This blade is designed to cut soft and hard wood, but not metal.

It is a close replacement for the original Dremel combination blade No. 8003.
