The eighth impression printed in 2012 and re-issued with new pictorial bindings, dust wrappers not called for in this edition. Pale blue cloth lettered back to spines, pictorial upper boards with a different depiction to each volume by Pauline Baynes who also completed the internal artwork. Tightly bound and with the text clean and unmarked, but the copy of 'The Magician's Nephew' has a trace of fading to the edge of the lower board which is also very slightly bowed at the same edge, together with a tiny spot of fading to the leading edge of the upper board (about 1/8" x 1/16"). The 2012 printing was the most attractive of the impressions which were first printed by the Folio Society in 1996.
