How a Violin is Made. A look at how American Craftsman are producing Violins using the formula's discovered by Christopher Mertzanoff. The formula is "sectio aurea" of Leonardo da Vinci which fit all the features of a Stradivarius top and back. Mertzanoff called it and the designs based upon them "The Golden Strad".
