This
listing is for a "Tall Round Pyroglazed Quart" (TRPQ) milk
bottle. (Some refer to the "pyro" graphics as an "Applied Color Label"
or
ACL.) One side is marked: "LARSON'S...PASTEURIZED...Phone - 1228." The
back reads, "Adults - Babies - Children...They All Need Milk." Apparently, over there decades, there have been a few
Larson's dairies in different states. I've seen some similar bottles
listed as being from Iron River,
Michigan. Another source tells me this is from Chickasha, Oklahoma. (I found this
in a small town not far from Chickasha.)
BUT
I DON'T KNOW FOR CERTAIN WHERE THIS IS FROM. The underside of the
bottle is
embossed "45," which I believe
indicates that this was made in
1945. The condition is VERY GOOD to FINE. No chips or cracks. Just a hint of
"hazing" or "clouding" - not too bad; the glass is MOSTLY clean and
clear. The bottle is
guaranteed to be old & original, or your
money
back. Will be shipped EMPTY, without the styrofoam "milk" seen in some
of the above photos.
