This vintage Schwinn New World bicycle is a true gem for collectors and enthusiasts alike. With a rare serial number, this prewar/paused production bike is a unique find. The brand speaks for itself, with Schwinn being a top name in the cycling industry.

As you can see from the pictures, this bicycle is in great shape and all original and its history only adds to its charm and character. Whether you are looking to add to your collection or simply want a classic bike to ride around town, this Schwinn New World is a must-have.

The serial number stamped on the bottom of the the frame is: D7806, The speed cable is broken; the brake cables still work however show some cracking. The tires are 26" and don't hold air. The rear hub was cleaned to see the information that was stamped on it; the Lexington Badge on the front shows this bicycle was sold from Bloomingdales Bros. New York, NY.

I couldn't find much on the serial number including from the National Bicycle Museum however a member from a Bicycle Collector Group saw the FB post and provided a better explanation on the history of the bike as well as another member who commented below the initial post. Please copy and paste the address below for that information.
