This is an early pontiled original 3 mold blown toilet water or cologne bottle from the 1830-1840s era with vertical ribs around bottle and has its original matching cobalt Tam O'Shanter glass "hat" stopper!....You are only buying the ONE slightly lighter blue bottle on the left..the other bottle is listed separately..... This ribbed cologne is attributed to the Boston & Sandwich Glass factory....Hand blown in a 3 part mold with a rough pontil scar on bottom......6"tall (6 3/4"with stopper) x 2 1/2"across base....round....medium cobalt blue....crude thin flared ring lip. Original cobalt glass stopper just sits on top of lip, so probably had a cork liner originally which is missing. Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. A nice clean attic bottle with only some small dirt specks inside.
