1918 was the second year of production of the Liberty Walking half dollars.  The mile high city of Denver, Colorado, produced 3,853,040 Lady Liberties during production year 1918.

Just remember,  of that number produced, probably less than 700,000 can be accounted for today.  Most have fallen victim to the silver melting pot, and many have simply disappeared due to time and space.

So, if you don't have one of these 1918 Denver Lady Liberties, you now know why the price is up there, even for the well-worn varieties.

This particular coin is very nice. It meets all the criteria, so to speak.  All major features are fairly solid. Sure, it has seen some circulation, but this coin is over 106 years old. It is a winner, in my opinion.

Please check out the attached photos. The coin pictured is the exact coin you will receive.

I strive for next business day shipping when possible. Thank you, and God bless.
