An absolutely stunning antique Theodore Deck faience ewer.

Dating to c. 1880.

Made in the Iznik style with birds in peony etc.

One of the most attractive Deck pieces I've handled.

Measures 7.75 inches/19.8cm tall.

As you can see in the images it has sustained some damage in the past with essentially the neck being detached from the body with some old stapling, one staple to the base of the handle. Small repaired chip to the rim. Sounds bad but the faults are very well hidden in the decoration and will only require a modest amount of concealing.
