Description Os revestimentos compostos Zn-Ni sobre substrato de aço macio foram preparados incorporando nanotubos de carbono de múltiplas paredes (MWCNT) através da técnica de electrodeposição com sucesso. O reforço dos nanotubos de carbono foi aumentado através da obtenção de elevada dispersão no electrólito de revestimento. Tensioactivos nomeadamente, brometo de cetiltriamónio (CTAB), sulfato de laurilo de sódio (SLS) e Triton X 100 foram utilizados nesta tentativa. Os espécimes revestidos foram testados quanto à sua resistência à corrosão em 3,5% de solução de NaCl através de estudos espectroscópicos de polarização e Impedância Electroquímica (EIS). Os tensioactivos desaglomeraram as partículas e melhoraram a sua incorporação na matriz metálica, o que ajudou a obter compósitos com maior resistência à corrosão e maior dureza.
