This is an original early Lowell Massachusetts "Traders and Mechanics Mutual Fire Insurance" blotter with an agency stamp of New Durham NH on the bottom edge.

It is marked Incorporated 1848. 

 

The back is blank and has not been used. See Photo example.

Blotter will be sleeved in plastic and shipped protected by cardboard in a padded envelope for a safe delivery.
