A pair of miniature chairs from Vol.4 of the Design Interior Collection "Designers Chairs" series made by Reina, Japan.
1:12 scale reproductions of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's famous "Hill House" chairs designed c1902 for the "White Bedroom" in Hill House, Scotland (an Arts and Crafts house).
In their original packaging, the box is open.

Chairs measure 4 5/8" (11.8 cm) tall and are 1 3/8" (3.5 cm) across the widest part of the seat at the front.
Box measures 7 1/2" (19 cm) x 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) x 3 3/4" (9.5 cm).

Chairs are in excellent undamaged condition, they have been kept in the box and not on display.
The box is open as when these were sold the contents of the box was a mystery (a bit like football cards) so you had to open it to know which chair you had purchased. The contents have been ticked on the box in pen, there is a fine crease on this flap towards the bottom. |
