American Professional Series The neck shape and fret size have been revised for the comfort of playing, and the neck shape has been renamed Modern Deep C. The grip is slightly firmer than that of a conventional American Standard, and the frets are narrower. The fret size is Narrow Tall, which has a slightly meatier grip than the conventional American Standard, and the frets are narrower and higher than the American Standard. The single coil pickups are newly designed V-Mod pickups for this model, and different magnets are placed on the 1, 3, 4 and 6 strings for each position. The volume is also equipped with a function called Treble Bleed, which allows the volume to be changed even when the volume is turned down, without sacrificing the high frequency range. The top surface of the saddle has been processed to make it easy to take octaves, which contributes to stress-free playing while enjoying the vintage feeling.
