in den 1950er-60 Jahren einst von Gebr. Hoppe in Solingen auf der Eichenstr. Leider hat die
Firma 1983 ihre Pforten geschlossen. Handwerkliche Spitzenverarbeitung
und Langlebigkeit zeichnen diese Scheren Messer und Instrumente von Hoppe aus.

Gents' pocket scissor also usable as cigar cutter and nail scissor. From Nos produced once during the 1950s-60s. Provided with protetcting cap and a robust nail file combined with a nail cleaner on the tip.
Made in SOLINGEN-GERMANY by the famous
Gebr. Hoppe (Hoppe brothers) company located once in Solingen
Eichenstr.122. Unfortunately, the company closed in 1983.
Gebr.
Hoppe was renowned for their top quality pocket knives and scissors
which they exported to many countries. Their sole logo was the "Kg
weight" symbol which you can notice embossed on most implements.
The
Hoppe was a big family and cutlery dynasty in Solingen like for ex the
Weyersbergs, Claubergs, Erns and several more... Some made scissors, other
straight razors like for ex. Guiliermo Hoppe. And until today some of
their descendants are engaged in scissors and smaller cutlery
production.
A fine gentleman tool (for ladies too) for everyday carry.
