Bait-feeder spinning reel features dual drag design that one is in the front of the reel, which is the normal drag, the other is at the rear of the reel, which is the secondary drag can turn your reel in a free spool mode when a fish decide to run with your bait. Near the rear of the reel is the lever that controls the Bait-feeder feature and at the rear is a knob that is used to switch the pressure that the secondary drag puts on the spool. With this great function, fishes (especially those big fish like snapper, pike etc.) are allowed to pick your bait completely unaware and your fishing tackle can be protected from breaking under load and suddenly strike. Once you turn the reel handle the lever flicks back and the normal drag function is available, then you can fight the fish normally. When not in use, the secondary drag doesn’t play a part in the functions of the reel.
