Spine wear, edge wear, corner wear.  Piece missing to the bottom of the spine

Conservation: Because the staples were blown, I used mending tape to carefully reinforce the staples and repair the spine, as necessary. I also repaired a few short edge tears.  It looks much better now and will last much longer.
