This Gothic revival cabinet is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. It is made from solid oak and finished to a warm dark color. It is solid cabinet and appears to have older pieces of wood incorporated into it. The carvings are also well done and very intricate. There are two latches and the doors works as they should. Overall it is in very good condition with minor signs of wear. Note that there are woodworm holes throughout the piece and various stains on the top of the piece (see photos). The top of the piece also has some cracks in it (see photos). Dimensions: 63.25" tall, 63.5" wide and 20.25" deep.
