This is an original Vietnam era US M1 combat helmet liner shell. This is used. It has 1969 dated suspension on the inside which is in relatively good condition for it's age.  I have found no obvious damage. This one is very nice. This is marked 4 in the dome.  (see pictures) It looks like the original first coat of paint.  Great shell to build on.
