Here For Auction is a Beautiful Victorian Antique Chester Hallmarked Silver Open Face, Center Seconds Chronograph Fusee Pocket Watch, Signed - H. BERTLESTEIN - Manchester. Dated 1889.

This lovely English chronograph, case No --922 has a Chester Hallmark "F" (1889)  0.925 silver, the case is in excellent condition no dents or scratches and no visible pocket wear,  the gold hinges and catches are good 
so back and front open and close perfectly,
The original mineral glass is very good with just a few very minor scratches.. The lovely porcelain champagne coloured dial signed Centre Seconds Chronograph, is very good  with no chips, stains or hairlines, It has gold spear and whip hands and black center seconds hand with black Roman numerals with outer seconds and minute tracks, The watch measures 58 mm across x 20 mm deep.

The Makers Mark is-- J R.  for-- . James Richardson, Watch & Watch Case Manufacturer of--  Hollyhead Road, Coventry., Coventry.  Registered 1875.

It has a 3/4 plate, English 15 jewel Fusee movement Signed - H. BERTLESTEIN, Manchester. No. 67922. The 
English lever escapement with compensated balance is running very well and keeping good time.

Another Lovely 135 Year Old Victorian Antique Chain Driven Fusee Chronograph Pocket Watch for the collector.  Working perfectly and in excellent condition, (practically as new).
