TWO CLASSIC LANCASHIRE SWAN QUILL FISHING FLOATS       

Lucky Dip bid - you will receive TWO floats of my choice - colours and whipping patterns vary. 

TWO old-fashioned swan/goose floats; suited to several types of traditional fishing methods, or just to have framed on the wall. 

These are good honest old-fashioned floats do the business. 

They are splendid for roach, tench, bream, chub, trout, and any other species. Popular however with anglers using stronger lines and stouter tackle/line  for large species. 

These are at about 6 - 10 inches long. They are just the thing to match a vintage split cane/bamboo rod and centrepin outfit. The tips are painted for first-class visibility in various conditions. Each float is a unique work of art in its own right, as they are individually handmade.

Please note that the whipping and paint colours on the float may vary a little from the illustrations (as mentioned above) and all are treated with many coats of tough varnish for extra durability, in all seasons. The float also has a sturdy real wire eye for extra durability...  

 Altogether these floats are 100% more aesthetically pleasing to use than the typical, dreary, plastic mass-produced things found in modern angling suppliers.

NB. I recommend using soft latex float rubbers on this float, rather than the horrid stiff plastic ones so often found in tackle shops. Soft latex is much kinder to classic floats.
