Vintage MEISSEN Cup, Saucer and desert plate set. First quality.

Gorgeous and elegant set by Meissen Germany, includes a cup, saucer and a desert plate. All pieces are decorated with larger green flower sprays and smaller orange/red and violet flowers, scalloped rims are adorned with gilt, the mold is elegant with basketweave pattern along the rims. The cup features beautiful handle shaped as a tree branch, with gilded accents. The saucer is deep.

The set is first quality, marked with Meissen mark used around 1924-34. There are the pattern mark and other impressed marks as well.

Measures: saucer 5.25”W x 1” Deep, cup 3.25” wide across the rim and 2”H. Plate 7.25” wide.

No cracks, chips or repairs noted. Minimal to none scratch marks, minor wear on feet, rainbow like patina and lines on the floral detail (green paint) but otherwise wonderful condition considering that this set is almost a hundred years old.
