Antique English pewter by Townsend & Compton 1785 - 1806. This is a 1 quart measuring tankard with handle and spout.

There are touchmarks and hallmarks. Weight is 1 pound, 11 ounces, 759 grams. Size is approximately 6½" tall x 4" wide (6" wide with handle). Condition is good. This item does show wear, but if it could talk, it would probably have some great stories to tell. It was most likely used in a pub for measuring  1 quart of liquid. Some of the marks, like the "quart" mark, were most likely added after production to verify they were up to standards on the quantity of liquid it held. The foot and spout has some dents & dings. The bottom of the handle is pushed in slightly. The rest of the wear is minor all over wear. Please see all the photos and item details for more specifics.
