Before use:
It is necessary to cover the new tin path on the soldering iron head to remove the oxide layer, and it is not allowed to rub or grind the soldering iron head with a knife, as this is an electroplating layer that is prone to wear and tear!
In use:
1. Before closing the soldering table, do not remove excess solder from the soldering iron head. This excess tin will protect the surface of the upper tin and prevent oxidation when the soldering iron head heats up again.
2. Avoid using anti bite solder (screw head), as it may affect the function of the soldering iron. If bite occurs, try removing the soldering iron head when the soldering iron is hot.
To prevent biting, the soldering iron head can be removed from the handle at intervals.
4. It is recommended to add distilled water to the cleaning sponge, as most tap water contains minerals that can corrode the soldering iron tip.
After use:
1. When welding, try to use neutral and active flux, clean the soldering iron with a welding sponge, and add water. Do not use a cloth to wipe.
2. Keep the working surface coated with tin at all times, wipe it only before use, and apply tin immediately after use.
3. If the welding temperature is above 350 degrees and the work is suspended for no more than 1 hour, the soldering iron head should be tinned normally.
