This exotic turban form pendant shade of turned, figured translucent alabaster features a bold pendant finial and dates ca. 1910.  Measuring 8" tall x 11" wide, it is a creamy white with age toning when unlit.  Illumination reveals subtle natural figuring as seen in the images.  There is an almost circular crack framing the finial that is stable with no apparent movement and does not go all of the way through the material in most places.  There are 3 holes around the top for mounting suspending chains and you will note 2 hairline cracks with discoloration on the rim.  There are chips to the  finial.
