Robin Hutchinson may not have been born with a pencil in one hand and a pad of paper in the other, but today she can't ever imagine leaving home without either. After selling her pizzeria, Robin followed her biggest dream and became a writer. Having a passion for writing novels, it was while she was walking through the mall with her best friend one day that sparked the idea for Penelope's "Secret" Cooking Club. Certain she had a great idea, she came home and wrote, Is There a Secret to Keep, which originally was only twelve pages. Although, she put this project on hold for over three years, she returned to write a series packed with humor and bigger than life characters that would blend the two great worlds of reading and cooking. When Robin is not writing, she enjoys traveling, knitting, and like Penelope, figure skating. Robin holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling. She lives in California with her husband and two cocker spaniels, Sasha and Bert, where she writes full time.
