At the Milliner's, by Edgar Degas,(1834- 1917) reproduction print

Subdued portrait of a young woman trying on a hat in a hat shop by French impressionist (although he preferred to call himself a 'realist') Edgar Degas (1834-1917), painted in 1882. The slightly off-kilter composition, and the fact that the shop assistant is half-hidden behind the mirror, giving the image the feel of a 'snapshot', reflects Degas' active interest in the then relatively new art of photography.

Edgar Degas Born Hilaire-Germain-Edgar De Gas, French:19 July 1834 – 27 September 1917) was a French  Impressionist artist famous for his pastel drawings and oil paintings.
