This antique plate rail is from France and it dates to the late 1800’s. It was originally mounted on a large buffet. It is made from solid walnut and finished to a warm dark color. It is in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches consistent with its age. Note that one side of the rail has a crack and a missing piece (see photo). There is also a stain on the front of the rail (see photos). Dimensions: 46.25" long, 3" high and 4" deep (front to back).
