Ballasting tools make the task of laying ballast on model railroads quick, easy, and clean. Unfortunately, the tools to do it are pricy and overengineered. Here's a basic ballasting tool that does the job just as well. I plan to make designs for additional scales, but I needed this in a pinch on my layout. Enjoy!
We print these in random colours so you will receive whatever colour we currently have setup in our 3D Printers
Place on track, and put in ballast. Run back and forth on the track so that the entire roadbed / track is covered. There will be additional ballast on the ties, but that is to be expected and totally normal. Clean them up with a small paintbrush. Glue / Cement in place the ballast if required. Remember if you do then you have to give the cement /glue time to dry.

They are made from PLA Plastic and are fully paintable so you can even match to wall colours if required etc.

Once printed we quality check all models before dispatch to ensure that only the highest quality prints are dispatched, any fine finishing touches are the customers responsibility.
