From high school senior to True Sovereign, Ryder has come far, but his journey is just beginning. Gravely wounded in a battle with his evil sister, Ayden, Ryder is trapped on the wrong side of the Great Barrier. In order to return and save his people, Ryder must seek out the mysterious and powerful Folkvar, the creators of the barrier. Together with his personal bodyguard, Gaige and Vian, the shape shifter, the young Sovereign crosses the territory of the magical fae and the dark creatures of smoke and fog known as the Moric'Itzal. He can only hope and pray that the Folkvar will agree to open the barrier so that he can return to the other side and prevent Ayden from destroying everything he is trying to save.
