Reclaimed English Oak Luxury handmade  dining chairs from the Royal historic palaces

I have for sale a large quantity of stunning English & hand crafted luxury banquet chairs reclaimed from the Royal Historic palaces with a Royal stamp on the back of the chairs...

There are 195 chairs in total all hand made using sustainable British Oak &  traditional materials and techniques.

The reason for the sale of these chairs are as follows...

In 2023 Caroe Architecture submitted plans for a long-awaited refurbishment of Inigo Jones’ grade I-listed Banqueting House on Whitehall.

The Proposals lodged with Westminster council  will see the 17th century building  which was built in 1622 have a large refurbishment including  modern flooring replacement   & general facilities enhanced to ensure the preservation of its famous ceiling painted by Rubens.

As a result of this refurbishment a number of luxury pieces of furniture were no longer required due to the change in decor  and are now available for sale to the public including these absolutely stunning and unique 1 off chairs

The refurbishment of banqueting hall is currently under way and the main banqueting chairs which are now for sale were being stored in the white Tower within the Tower of London up until 1 month ago before they were commissioned for sale

The Banqueting hall where these chairs came from was used for a number of high profile & Royal events during the Charles 1st   era  all the way though to now.......Masques who provided a form of courtly Entertainment were popular amongst royal households and would have performed in the great Hall at banqueting House where these chairs came from..

These chairs are obviously not dated to  the 1600's era but have been made and created with the surroundings they were made  for in mind......A grand Royal banqueting hall  so these chairs do have a regal feel and look about them..

All chairs are in excellent condition with sign of use to paint in places on the edges to create a shabby chic look
