This is another one of the paintings I collected on my visit to Cornwall to see James, a lifelong friend of mine, just after last October.
I'm selling some of my stock for space in a smaller property I'm moving into.
James, although not born in Cornwall, is more Cornish in the culture and geographical knowledge of the county, after 50 years of settling there from Manchester, than a lot of local born natives. This is all reflected in his paintings of which some show real people he's met or knows personally.
I hope you enjoy his work and I'll be selling more from the artist's shed in the coming weeks so watch out for more towards spring and summer.
