LATHE COUNTER-SHAFT

From an old clockmakers workshop clearance...

I've not had the pleasure of selling one of these before....

This is an exquisitely made unit, finished to the highest quality

There is a twin drive shaft which has a FORK pivotting arrangement to control the drive belt.

I assume this moves the belt from the fixed drive pulley to the free running one?

To enable a fixed speed motor to still run - while no drive is sent to main pulley set??

There is a video attached to show the workings via. my finger power.

Head can be raised or tilted to enable belt tensioning easily
